Kicking off the new decade, the Great Park Neighborhoods HOA threw an amazing celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year! Lunar New Year is a festival typically celebrated in China and other Asian countries (Vietnam, Tibet, Korea) that begins with the first new moon of the lunar calendar and ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar. It took place in the newest neighborhood, Novel Park. It was a beautiful day for all the wonderful activities that was available for families to experience - including Lion Dances every hour, Storytelling, Chinese Concert.             Families could also have free Boba, take selfies at the photo booth, kids could create art & get balloon animals! There was also storytelling for the kiddos that helped explain what Lunar New Year is all about. 2020 is the year of the Rat! It was great to see this celebration get better and better year after year. What I appreciate the most is that the HOA understands the residents' needs and gives us a better experience each time. What more could you ask for?           Because of the diverse cultures you will find in the Great Park Neighborhoods, this event was a great way to show our younger generations and older how a new year is celebrated in parts of the asian subcontinent. Future residents could also explore the new Novel Park that boasts a Zen Garden, Coffee Shop, and dog parks to throw in an urban feel in the suburb of Irvine. With Novel Park’s fresh mix of home styles, even walks around the block will take a surprising turn. October wasn't special here in the Great Park Neighborhoods until our annual Harvest Glow at Beacon Park! Families from our different communities came by to enjoy our HOA event partnering with FivePoint to host the Great Park Neighborhoods’ biggest event of the year! A pumpkin carving contest, face painting, bounce houses and so much more brought families together to spend time enjoying a start to the fall season. If you've never seen a park lined up with lit up pumpkins, you should come check it out next year as our neighbor! It's such a beautiful sight to see them all glowing together until the crisp autumn sky.   Grab a lawn chair, grab your kiddos and friends, and bring your dance moves! You don't even have to leave your neighborhood to enjoy a concert in the park...every summer the Great Park Neighborhoods HOA hosts some amazing live band concerts in our neighborhood that are free for residents. This year it is in Pavilion Park. While there's amazing music to enjoy, the kids have obstacle bounce houses, body art, popcorn, and games and activities for the entire family. It was so fun and the weather in Irvine made it better! Last week we got to hear WANTED - the nation’s number one tribute band performing the music of Bon Jovi. It brings back memories and creates new ones for the younger generation. It's My Life! We can't wait for next month's concert. Are you gonna be joining us?

  Hello Summer! Hello Pools! Although we had overcast skies, it was a fiesta at The Pools at the Great Park Neighborhoods a few weeks ago. The Pools has an Olympic size competition lap pool, a resort pool, three jacuzzi's and a children's wading pool. There are cabanas and fire pits surrounding the pool for your enjoyment. Families from our different communities came by to enjoy our HOA event featuring yummy street-style tacos by Jalepenos Catering, and wonderful summer tunes by Sky Green.  Have you ever had a gathering with tacos and tunes? Wouldn't it be fun to enjoy this every summer? You can when you come live with us at the Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine!

The signal of summer is when school's out and families hit the pool! That's exactly what we all did a few weeks ago and we had a blast. The HOA threw us a fun party with music, games, and sweet treats. The kids even enjoyed a fun water slide by the large pool. Toddlers swam and played in the wading pool, and everyone enjoyed a nice dip in our three hot tubs! Every now and then I think about how grateful I am to live in this neighborhood. We have access to amazing amenities and get togethers to meet old friends and make new ones. The pools were filled with laughter and smiles and that's how everyday should be. Who loves coffee? Who loves getting to know your neighbors? We do! Every few months our HOA sets up a "Coffee & Convo" to meet up, have a sip of complimentary coffee and enjoy the parks at the Great Park Neighborhoods! This time it was in the beautiful Parasol Park that has a zipline, sand, a beautiful sit-down area for casual dining and chatting! It's a great way for the kids to play in the nearby parks, and for the whole family to enjoy a nice morning meeting our friends.   Imagine sitting on the Pavilion Park big lawn with friends and family, enjoying a picnic on a beautiful spring day? That's what the Earth Day Picnic was for us! The HOA provided boxed lunches for families or you could bring your own food. They had a bird feeder, kids created recycled origami crafts, and adults watched a container garden demonstration. Families also played lawn games, explored the Tide Pool and had a visit from the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center. And have you ever done Yoga in the park? It's such a breath of fresh air and exercise for mind, body and soul! Our residents also brought their Orange Bicycle, which every resident who buys at the Great Park Neighborhood receives, and could get adjustments to their bike! With all the trails in Irvine and near our neighborhoods, we geared up for spring and summer rides. I can't wait! This event took place near our greenhouse. Everyone who lives at Great Park Neighborhoods can enjoy this one-of-a-kind signature structure. The gathering spot for farm-to-table dinners, gardening classes, vertical gardens and more. Come check it out sometime, and you're sure to appreciate nature and our surroundings. Hope you enjoyed Earth Day with your family!

Egg hunts, Bounce Houses, and so much more! The HOA in our neighborhood puts together events that celebrate holidays, traditions, and family fun. This event featured face painting, crafts, beverages, bounce houses, Mad Science, Easter Bunny, and of course, the egg hunt! It took place at Beacon Park. Beacon Park was the 2nd neighborhood to open at the Great Park Neighborhoods and the beautiful lawn and park inspires exploring, imagining and discovering! Our community programs also came to share what they offer to our residents. Did you know we offer kids and adults swim lessons, fitness bootcamps, art classes, yoga and more? When you move into this neighborhood you won't ever feel like leaving, and we won't let you (no kidding!) But we have such a variety of happenings and offerings that really helps keep our families engaged and enjoy living at the Great Park Neighborhoods.
